Waste Types
Clean / Hard Fill
Clean/ Hardfill Bins
These bins can only have soil, concrete, rocks, bricks, clay, sand and clean tiles in them.
​
Contaminated hardfill bins will be tipped as general rubbish and charged for on that basis.
​
Clean and hard fill is sent to designated cleanfill sites.

General Waste
These bins are not compatible with any hardfill materials.This includes dirt, concrete, bricks, stone, rocks, sand, clay and soil.Bins with Hardfill will be charged a contamination fee.
Our General Waste skips can handle almost any job,
they are suitable for most general waste types, except for hardfill.

We wouldn't be living up to our name if we didn't ask this!
If any potential material/items fit for reuse find their way to one of our skips, place them into the skip last/on top and notify our staff on pick up.
This small change makes a world of difference in keeping valued resources out of landfill.

Garden Waste
Garden waste consists of trees, plants, grass clippings, tree pruning and any other organic garden material,
No Food Scraps.
Note: Materials that fall outside of this description will contaminate the bin, incurring a contamination fee.
All garden waste is sent to a processing site to be turned into soil, compost, bark, woodchips and other handy landscaping materials
that can be purchased at our site, how convenient.

What areas do you deliver to?We are able to deliver to the Northshore area, give us a call to see if we can make it to you!

What size bin do I need?Please refer to the bin pages to help determine what size and specification you require.

What forms of payment do you accept and how do I pay?Credit Card

What is not allowed to be placed in the bin?Any liquid waste, any waste that may be explosive, toxic, dangerous, hazardous, noxious, acids, solvents, greases, oils, liquid concrete or asbestos.

How long can I have the bin?Our Standard bin hire is 3 days, however this can be extended at a rate of $15 per day.

What is the minimum width of driveway do I require in order for trucks to access my property?2.5 meters

How high can I fill the bin?You can fill the bin until it is level with the top.

Do you have excess weight charges on your bins?Yes, We charge $20.00 incl GST per 100kgs over the limit. Excess weight limits apply if the bin or skip is overloaded, or exceeds our stipulated weight for the size of bin. Please check our terms and conditions for weight limits and current overdue charges.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Customer is responsible for the bin during the time of hire.
You agree not to:
1. Place or allow in the bin any non-permitted waste, including but not limited to:
any liquid waste, any waste that may be explosive, toxic, dangerous,
hazardous, noxious, acids, solvents, greases, oils, liquid concrete or asbestos.
2. Fill or allow the bin to be filled higher than the top level of the bin which may
result in spillage of waste, overloaded and unsecure bins cannot be transported.
3. Move the bin or use the bin for any other purpose than for the placement of
waste. Note any bin requiring salvage (i.e. irretrievable after being moved
without permission) is at the Customers expense.
4. Allow any burning of waste in the bins.
Damage to the bin
The customer is liable for the costs of repairing any damage to bins while on hire.
Weight Charges
Bins are hired to customers based on a maximum bin weight. If the weight of a bin on collection exceeds these weight limits overweight charges apply.
By hiring and utilising our bins you agree to pay any overweight charges that may occur.
Please Note: Overweight charges are $20 per 100kgs over the weight limit listed.

Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring suitable access to the delivery site
including the removal and reinstatement of any obstructions and ensuring that there
are stable ground conditions for the delivery, placement and removal of the bin.
RRD take no responsibility for damage to any surface and the Customer is required to take all necessary steps to protect such surfaces before delivery and after collection.
The driver is instructed to deliver the bin as directed by the client where practical and no claim may be made against RRD for any damage caused to underground services such as cables and drainage, or overhead obstacles such trees and overhanging telephone, power lines.
The Customer to ensure the bin is visible and appropriate warning signs are posted whilst the bin is in your possession.
Bins cannot be left on the road unless you have a permit from Auckland Transport.
The customer is responsible for the health & safety measures required to leave the bin on the road for the duration of the permit during the day and night.
RRD may refuse to enter a site if in its opinion the site is not considered to be safe.
Bookings may be cancelled, however if you cancel your booking, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to delivery, if you choose to cancel later than this then a cancellation fee of 50% of the bin hire fee will apply.
There will be no refunds if RRD arrive at the scheduled delivery address and are then turned away or cannot access the site for any reason.
Additional charges will apply if we arrive at a site and we cannot pick up a bin due to the bin being overweight, containing non permitted waste, obstacles in front or around the bin, site is too narrow, overhanging trees, sharp corners or no access.
Payments by credit card, you authorise us to charge the supplied credit card for the cost of the bin, cancellation costs, overweight charges and any other fees relating to delivery and removal of the bin.
Bins remain the property of RRD.
By hiring the bin you give RRD irrevocable authority to take any necessary steps
to enter your premises/property to reclaim our bins.
